About my professional experience
Total of 15 years experience in Welding, NDT, & Painting, Out of which at least 10years experience in new built projects of refineries, gas plant, petrochemicals.
Offshore surface and subsurface infrastructure like DECK, JACKET, PILES, RISER TOWERS, FLOWLINE, PIPING, MANIFOLD and BUOY
Construction of piping for petroleum oil gathering and distribution system between stations.
Construction of station piping for the dilution, desalting, water separation and degassing of petroleum.
Construction of piping for petroleum oil gathering wellhead & flow line at oil field.
CORROSION MONITORING
Corrosion monitoring periodic inspection & in-service of oil field and related equipments like plant, piping, pressure vessels and fuel storage tanks, in madras refineries ltd, PDO in Oman, and ADCO in Abu Dhabi.

My Career path and performances (Upto Date)
Review and approve Non Destructive Examination (NDE) Procedures in order to confirm as per project specification and relevant International Standards and co-ordinating. Witness, evaluation and interpretation of NDT techniques like RT, UT, MT, & PT. Co-ordinate with NDT personal and making arrangement to complete the job in time.
Organizing ASNT NDT Level I & II training program and qualifying NDE personnel in accordance with SNT-TC-1A.
Good knowledge of DUPLEX WELDING, control of non conformities, review of welding data books, witness of hydrostatic tests, issuance of punch lists, pre commissioning inspection of mechanical items, issuance of acceptance reports etc.
Preparing and implementing Inspection Test Plan and Method Statement for various activities involved in the construction of Petrochemical Plant as project specification & relevant International Standards and getting approvals from the client.
Coordinate in conducting Quality Audits, finding the Non conformities and suggesting corrective action to resolve.
Performing Welding Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) in case of variation in the essentials variable with existing PQR, as per international standards and additional requirement of client.
Preparing welding Procedure Specification (WPS) with relevant qualified PQR for the particular projects
Performing Welder Qualification Tests for various welding procedure specifications as per ASME section IX and ASME B31.3, API 1104, AWS D1.1 etc.
Coordinating with client inspection department at various stages of fabrication activities and getting approval.
Conversant with International Codes like ASME section II, V, VIII, IX, ASME B31.3,AWS D1.1, API 1104,API 650 , ISO 5817, API 5L etc.
Responsibility includes monitoring performance appraisal of QC inspectors.
Coordinating with Material Controller for Incoming Inspection of varies steel materials, consumables, tools and equipments etc. with relevant documents like material test certificates. If required performing mechanical test and chemical analysis in order to confirm as per project specification and relevant International Standards.
Carrying out the welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant engineering drawing, international standard and project specification
Welding inspection of various piping materials like duplex stainless steel, low temperature carbon steel, stainless steel, internal coated piping using with coated sleeve pipe which protects the corrosion of weld area.
Witness the Hydrostatic test, pneumatic test, Pressure test and vacuum test as per project procedure.
Carry out inspection and evaluation of fitness for service of equipments like pumps & motors, static equipments like vessels, heater package, flare stack etc. with third party and obtained final acceptance.
Maintain the latest version of all contracts documents, drawings, specifications and International standards.
Calibration and documentation of measuring instruments, gauges, and equipments etc.
Inspection and witnessing of cathodes protection system used in the onshore facilities, which includes piping system, pipeline, and storage tank etc.
Responsibilities including monitoring TOMAWAC system (Traceability of Materials and Welded Assembly Control system), coordinating all relevant departments, in order to get final material traceability report.
Preparation of Test Packs individual system wise, which includes material certificates, welding history records, NDT reports, equipment & installation and alignment report, CP reports, electrical installation report, compiling sub – contractors documents, coating reports, hydrotest reports, pneumatic test reports, pressure test reports etc, and getting client’s approval.
